Work Injuries

I am a 43 year old right-handed machinist, injured in August 2000. My arm was twisted by a honing machine and grabbed the part I was working on, threw me to the air. When I landed on my feet, I had extreme pain in my wrist, elbow and shoulder. I continued working until January, 2001 and then had to stop because of the pain. On and off, I treated by chiropractor and Physical Therapy with some relieved but when I worked again, my elbow became severe, I even had the difficulty picking up a pencil. then I have to operate by a surgeon to remove damaged tissue, move a tendon. I was casted for two weeks and then took physical therapy again but it is not helping. My range of motion decreased with less strength of adduction. I also had numbness and tingling in my right three fingers.
After the fourth treatment by Dr. Tao, I began to experience pain relief, no numbness and not need take any medication. My grip force of my hand and arm also getting better."

"I am a 51 year old former medical secretary. I am being treated for my pain secondary to a left distal acromial fracture sustained while at work. I was reaching for a chair and the chair rolled and struck my outstretched hand, causing the fracture of the left acromion. Over the years I tried numerous medications, however, most of these could only be taken transiently because of side effects. An MRI shows I have a full thickness defect involving the
supraspinatus tendon and a partial thickness tear of the infraspinatus tendon and left shoulder confirmed the full thickness rotator cuff tear. I received surgery on Feb 14, 2000 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Unfortunately, my shoulder pain even gets better like 50% from constant pain to intermediate pain, however, some additional pain
radiates up to the base of my neck and down to my elbow with weakness when I used my hand for my work. My course has been difficult because of failure to respond to physical therapy, or even worsening. I also had intolerance to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with severe GI symptoms after only two to three days, or no relief at all. Due to I have M.S. for years and unacceptable for nerve blocks due to arthritic damage in my spine.

I had been treated by Dr. Tao through my orthopedic Doctor's referral from a three times a week for a couple months now. I am glad to say the acupuncture treatment with Chinese herbal patch/ointment is very effective. I could tolerate more of my pain and work longer even sometimes without taken any of my medication. I hope people like my condition could try this alternative medicine for it is very helpful and not need to worry about any further surgery and the side effect of medication."

"I am a 59 year old former farmer. In the early 1970's , I fell off a ladder and injured a disc. An MRI shows a narrowing of the canal and spinal stenosis, involving the L4 to L5 and L5 to S1. I then developed a chronic back pain since after and my condition of the constant toothache pain vanished since after the second treatment. This type of relieve not temporary pain relieve from chiropractor doing, almost completely and deep relieved from the acupuncture treatment. In the meawhile, I experienced a GI distress for years when I eat fruits like tomato, grapes or spicy food, orange juice, lemonadewtc. After I taking the patent's Chinese herbal medicine prescribed by Dr. Tao, I am no longer have any difficulty with my stomach acid regurgigation."
