Bells Palsy

"I was hit with a bout of Bells palsy on May 18 th of this year. I went to the emergency room and was prescribed prednisone and acyclovir. I finished the medicine and had no change in my symptoms. I was recommended to Dr. Tao.
After about 4 sessions I started to feel a change. My lip which had been paralyzed on the right side started to loosen up. My eye which wouldn't close or blink started to move slightly. After 7 sessions my eye was able to close on its own and my mouth was almost back to normal. After 12 sessions I was completely cured of the bells palsy and felt fine. I also suffered from a pain in the back of my head which came on with the onset of the Bell's Palsy. Dr Tao was able to get rid of this pain and now I am back to normal.
I would recommend Dr. Tao if you are considering acupuncture.

"After a flare up of sarcoidosis in late fall 1998 cusing lung problems and subsequently a heavy prescription of prednizone, it was the acupuncture and herbs which cured my back pain and sciatica problems and low energy caused by prednizone. Then to make bad year worse, I contracted either rocky mountain spotted fever or ehrlichia in May 1999. This eventually led to bell palsy on the right side of my face. Having already been familiar with the healing power of the acupuncture and herbs, I came to you as soon as I was physically well enough to endure trip(9 days after the onset of bells palsy). I had been told by my other doctors that hopefully the bells palsey would go away in 3-5 months. To the amazement of the doctors, after 6 treatments and 3 weeks from the onset, I was about 95-98% better. Thanks again for your help."

"I am a 67 year old woman patient, diagnosis with Bell's Palsy by my neurologist Doctor in February, 2ooo. He gave me antibiotic medicine and 5 tablets Vitamin B6 per day for a few months with no improvement. My son is a MD practiced in Georgia, suggested me go to see an acupuncturist. From Yellow page, I found Dr. Tao. After completing 36 treatments, started with three times a week then twice a week and tapered to once a week, I have been proved by my family Doctor that I made a 90% improvement with only some ptosis of the left lid and mild speech impediment. Comparing to the photo I was taken on March 25th in my son's wedding, I couldn't believe that change wa real! And not only my face, my energy with my limped left leg also feel better. I was so pleased that my face could looks normal and my other symptoms also could improve in the same time."
