Spinal Stenosis

"I was troubled with low back pain/spinal stenosis, but my surgeon would not operate, feeling it would be too traumatic at my age (95). So I tried acupuncture and am very pleased with the results-pain is at least 80% gone. I would try acupuncture again, if necessary."

"I' am a 58 year old male, who was very active for my age until about 7 years ago when I started with low back pain. I had done the gamut of orthopedic doctors, and physical therapy treatments which helped but only for a brief time. In July 2006 I was diagnosed with ¡°severe spinal stenosis.¡± A condition that only gets progressively worse until surgery is generally the only remedy. I also had re-developed bronchitis in my right shoulder (a condition I had treated with physical therapy about 5 years ago). Not knowing where to turn (I certainly did not want surgery), but I did want to get some relief from the pain, so I started looking on the internet and came upon Tao¡¯s Acupuncture & Herb Center.¡± After doing some research, I decided that I was going to give acupuncture a try.

After my first treatment with Dr. Tao, I noticed a tremendous relief from the pain I had been suffering with for all these years, not only in my lower back, but also in my shoulder. I would recommend acupuncture to any one who is thinking of an alternative medicine treatment.

Dr. Tao is a very caring, compassionate and patient individual. I do not know where I would be today if it were not for Dr. Tao and his TCM and herb therapy. It works! Thank You Dr. Tao."

"I am a 40 year old female, worked as a secretary for a disability management company. I had a history of herniated disc, MRI shows my right side has disc herination at L5-S1 with moderate stenosis and degenerative arthritis. I took codeine and cortisone transiently since 1998, but discontinued it because I did not want to take systemic medications. In January, 2004 I was jogging on a new treadmill and developed lumbosacral pain again. My pain feels worse when I changed positions, or bending to sit down. I received four week of rehabilitation and chiropractic care with no relief. I took generic drug Relafen twice a day with only slight relief. However, after the first acupuncture treatment with herbal patch and herbal medicine from Dr. Tao, I had dramatic relief in the next day. I can not believe this is true and highly recommend to anyone who has the pain problem."

"I am a 72 years old man and my low back pain was excruciating for over 15 years, I suffered with degenerative arthritis and spinal stenosis. It is because of it that I had to give up golfing. Exercise and pain meds didn't help. I was resigned to the fact that I was to live in pain for the rest of my life. In June of 2004, I visited Dr. Tao for acupuncture and herbs treatment. Following treatment, I was relieved of pain, and I am contemplating hitting the links once again."
